Each SymTech Labs MegaSquirt ECU is professionally assembled and configured for your application. No soldering, crimping or connecting is required inside the unit whatsoever. Simply plug in a SymTech Labs premium MegaSquirt wiring harness and you're good to go!
MegaSquirt is a revolutionary performance oriented engine management system (EMS) developed by Grippo & Bowling. It is powerful and feature-rich, but it costs hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of dollars less than comparable systems. This assembled MegaSquirt ECU contains an MS1 processor and a v3.0 board. Unless otherwise requested, it will ship with the latest stable release of the MS1/Extra firmware.
A cam input is necessary for sequential ignition (for applications that support it). High current ignition outputs can drive most standard ignition coils directly, whereas low current ignition outputs can drive "smart" coils with internal ignitors (e.g. LS1/LS2 coils). The standard 2.5 bar MAP is well suited for naturally aspirated and turbocharged applications (rated for up to 21 psi of boost). Consider a 3 bar (39 psi) or 4 bar (44 psi) sensor for higher boost levels. If you need assistance selecting the correct confirguation for your application, please contact us.
