Each SymTech Labs MegaSquirt ECU is professionally assembled and configured for your application. No soldering, crimping or connecting is required inside the unit whatsoever. Simply plug in a SymTech Labs premium MegaSquirt wiring harness and you're good to go!

 

MegaSquirt is a revolutionary performance oriented engine management system (EMS) developed by Grippo & Bowling. It is powerful and feature-rich, but it costs hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of dollars less than comparable systems. This assembled MegaSquirt ECU contains an MS3 processor and a v3.0 board. An MS3X expansion board is optional. Unless otherwise requested, it will ship with the latest stable release of the MS3 firmware. It is configured to control stock hardware, though the MS3X expansion board supports many non-stock features. If you do not see your application listed above, please contact us.

 

All SymTech Labs MS3 systems boast the following features:

 

  • 16x16 fuel tables and 16x16 ignition tables
  • Fuel injector control precise to 1 µsec
  • Full ignition control
  • 0.1% VE table resolution and 0.1 degree ignition table resolution
  • Fuel cut and/or spark retard based rev limiter
  • Wideband oxygen sensor AFR target table
  • Dual independent fuel and AFR target tables
  • Active exhaust gas oxygen feedback control
  • Various barometric correction schemes
  • User configurable TPS and MAP based open-loop thresholds
  • User configurable TPS and MAP based acceleration enrichment
  • On/off, PWM, and stepper motor IAC support (additional hardware may be necessary)

 

  • 50 MHz 16-bit dual core processor
  • On board MAP sensor
  • Speed density, alpha-N, and MAF algorithms
  • Universal injector drivers work with high or low impedance injectors
  • Compatible with narrowband oxygen sensors and most wideband oxygen sensor systems
  • USB or 115,200 baud serial connection for tuning
  • CAN bus for virtually unlimited expansion
  • SD card data logging (SD card not included)
  • Open source code and schematics for advanced customization
  • Black anodized extruded aluminum enclosure with CNC machined flanged end plates

 

  • Tuning software (TunerStudio MS) is regularly updated, and free to download and use
  • Log data on your laptop with TunerStudio MS, or on your Android phone with Shadow Logger MS

 

Be sure to purchase an MS3X expansion board to take advantage of these features:

 

  • 8 Independent fuel injector drivers, with support for sequential fuel injection
    • Injector drivers can drive high impedance injectors directly, or low impedance injectors with inline resistors
  • 8 Independent ignition outputs, with support for sequential ignition
    • Ignition outputs are compatible with many ignition modules and "smart" coils with internal ignitors
  • 6 Medium current outputs for relays and solenoids
    • Medium current outputs support various firmware features, such as two stage nitrous control, boost control, and more
  • 3 Analog inputs for adding extra sensors
  • 4 Digital inputs for switches and pulse inputs
  • 1 Universal cam sensor input
