I'm not very good with electronics or wiring, can I
install an FCD?
Probably,
the installation process requires little knowledge or wiring or
circuits. The instructions are clear and thorough, and of course,
SymTech Labs is always available for personalized support.

I don't know what version SymTech FCD I have.
FCD
using a green/red/black wiring scheme are V1.0 FCD's, while those using
a red/orange/yellow/green/black scheme are V2.0 FCD's.

I've lost/removed the wire labels, or the color
coded markings have been removed.
Please

to download the appropriate wiring pinout for your version FCD. You
will need to open the case of the FCD and carefully compare the wire
origins to their depicted locations in the pinout.

I've installed the FCD, and my car still has fuel
cut.
Using
a multimeter to monitor the FCD output, carefully lower the voltage
until you've reached your car's specific threshold voltage (usually
near 4.6V).

I've installed the FCD, and my car runs, but
poorly.
As
suggested in the installation instructions, be sure to adjust the use a
multimeter to monitor the FCD output. Adjust the potentiometer
accordingly; chances are the output threshold is set too low.

is high.

Do I absolutely need two gaskets when installing
my phenolic spacer?
Yes,
phenolic material is not soft enough to form a tight seal.
